What this website collects, why, who helps us handle it, and how to reach us about it.
Who we are
This website is run by CRu Custom Wine Cellars and Saunas, Inc., a Florida corporation doing business as CRu Custom Wine Cellars & Saunas (“CRu”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers information collected through this website. It does not cover conversations, site visits, quotes or paperwork that happen outside it.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry
The Start a Project form is the only place this website asks for information about you. It asks for your name and email address; the kind of project (wine cellar, bar or sauna); whether it is residential or commercial; whether the space is being built, remodeled or already exists; its city or area; a rough timeline; and a short description of what you have in mind. You can also choose to add a telephone number; the room’s size or bottle count; the builder, architect or designer involved; links; anything else you want to add; and photos of the space or reference images.
Please don’t include anything you would not want CRu to see, such as financial or other sensitive information.
When you visit
Like any website, this one is delivered by servers that receive technical information with each request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the page that linked to it, and the date and time. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How we use it
- To read your inquiry and reply to it, by email or by phone if you gave a number.
- To prepare for a first conversation and, if you go ahead, to carry out the project with you.
- To keep the website working, secure and free of automated abuse.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to profile you. Sending an inquiry does not sign you up to a mailing list.
Photos and images you send
The form lets you attach photos of your space and images of rooms or details you like: up to 6 of each, 10 MB per image and 25 MB in all. They are checked in your browser and again on our server.
- They are stored privately and sent only to CRu. They are never published on this website or anywhere else without your permission.
- They are not given to any artificial-intelligence service or used to train one.
- Photos taken on a phone can contain hidden details such as the location where they were taken. If you would rather not share that, you can remove it before sending, or take a screenshot of the photo instead.
- Please only send images you have the right to share.
Service providers
We use a small number of companies to run the website and deliver inquiries. They process information only on our behalf and for these purposes.
- Cloudflare
- Hosts and delivers the website, protects it from abuse, and runs the inquiry form. It also stores submitted inquiries and their images privately for CRu. It receives technical information about each request (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) and, if you send an inquiry, everything in it. Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Resend
- Delivers each inquiry to CRu by email. It receives the contents of your inquiry and the images you attach. Resend’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Turnstile
- Checks that the inquiry form is being sent by a person rather than a script. It receives your IP address and basic information about your browser while the check runs.
- CRu’s email
- Inquiries arrive in CRu’s business email account, where replies are sent from.
CRu is based in Florida, in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and in other countries where they operate. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of CRu, our clients or others.
How long we keep it
We keep an inquiry and its images for as long as we need them to reply to you and, if you go ahead with a project, for the project and our business records. If you don’t go ahead, you can ask us to delete your inquiry and images at any time.
Our hosting provider keeps technical request logs for a limited period for security and operations, under its own policy.
Security
The website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Inquiries and images are stored in private storage that is not reachable from the web, and access to them is limited to the people who handle inquiries and look after the website for CRu. No website or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please don’t send anything you would consider sensitive.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete your inquiry, your images and your contact details;
- stop contacting you.
Email gary@crucellarsandsaunas.com or call 407-408-7929. We may need to confirm it is you before acting on a request, and we will reply within a reasonable time and within any period the law sets. You may have further rights under the privacy laws of the place where you live; we will honor them where they apply.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning work on a home or business. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. If a change is significant, we will say so here.
